Options. Resources. Answers.

We understand that music therapy is just one of the expenses in your care plan, and while most of the medical world sees us as“extra” or a “nice to have,” we feel that you should have access to effective treatments that you enjoy. Whenever possible, we’ll help you determine how to fund your therapy, either through insurance reimbursement or another source, so that you can avoid financial strain.

Medicaid Waivers

We participate with programs such as the Children’s Extensive Support Services (CES) Medicaid Waiver and Supported Living Services (SLS) Medicaid Waiver. We are also the only provider in Colorado/Denver offering small group music therapy sessions that may be covered by Medicaid waivers.

Private Insurance

We are the only music therapy facility in Denver that takes private insurance (including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, and others); however, private insurance coverage is available on a case by case basis and requires that families work closely with the provider.

Worker's Comp

We are the only music therapy facility in Denver that takes on Worker’s Comp cases. Insurance providers include: Pinnacol and Broadspire – Click here to learn more about how music therapy can help with work-related injuries.

Healthcare Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts

Rehabilitative Rhythms Music Therapy is listed as a medical provider and can process FSA/HSA debit and credit cards. Contributions to these accounts are 100% deductible (up to the legal limit) — just like an IRA.

Private Payment

We accept and provide discounts for private pay, and many of our public classes are supported by organizations and grants in order to increase affordability.
